General Pierre Delachenal died on Aug 17, died at Percy Hospital in Clamart. Delachenal was the Commandant of 3rd Squadron in Reims, when he formed an aerobatic team flying F-84G Thunderjet planes. He became the team's first leader and Commander.
A year later this team becomes Patrouille de France.
