Halcones pilot died in crash

The Chilean Air Force Demonstration Squadron “Halcones” lost one of their pilots in crash on 9th November. Lt. Cristian Andres Padilla Bravo died when his EXTRA 300L crashed during training flight at El Bosque airbase, south of Santiago in about 2:30 p.m.

Lieutenant Bravo joined Halcones in 2009 as his first air show was in 2010 flying as Halcone 5 a solo pilot. The cause of the accident remains under investigation.

The crash is the very common to the crash in 1993 when again solo pilot died in crash.
