The 1st Brazilian Fighter Group (1st Grupo de Aviacao de Caca "Rompe Mato") formed an aerobatic team in 1963 with an unofficial name of the "Pif - Paf" team.
This team flew with nine Gloster Meteor F.8 jet fighters each equipped with smoke generators.
In 1963, the Pif - Paf team paid an international visit to Paraguay, but was then disbanded in 1965.
