The Pioneer Team is a civil aerobatic team from Italy, flying four Pioneer 330 propeller aircraft painted in white, blue and red colors. All planes are equipped with white smoke generators with special pods on the each wing, which produced color smoke and fireworks.
The Pioneer Team was found in 2005 as a civil aerobatic display team by the pilots and flight instructors Franc Borin, Corrado Rusalen, Claudio Fogli and Marco Gioria, then flying Pioneer 300 aircraft.
With the help of former Frecce Tricolori pilots the Pioneer Team managed to create a well training and precise aerobatic team performed in many countries all over the world – Japan, UAE, Lybia, Korea, Bulgaria, Malta, Italy, Spain, Germany, Portugal, France, Austria, Croatia, Greece, Switzerland, Belgium, Holland, Slovakia and Hungary.
