Five of the Thunderbirds demonstration pilots resumed flights today, just five days after the crash of #6 aircraft. Only the pilot involved in the crash is not cleared to fly yet.

On June 2 at about 1 p.m., the opposing solo Maj. Alex Turner ejected from its F-16 jet, after a flyover at Air Force Academy graduation ceremony in Colorado Springs. The aircraft crashed at Widefield approximately five miles south of Peterson Air Force Base.

Despite the flight resumption, the air show schedule of the Thunderbirds is still uncertain.
