On June 21, the Canadian Forces aerobatic team Snowbirds made a special flyover in Belle River for four-year-old Mason Macri, who was diagnosed with rhabdomyosarcoma embryonal cancer.

Later that day The Snowbirds flew over Windsor International Airport twice to support all children with cancer diagnoses.

The flyovers were organized by Kids in Flight, whose goal is to use aviation to empower children with serious illnesses or disabilities and their families through flight experiences and educational programs.
