All six Blue Angels will perform using a 50/50 blend of drop-in biofuel for the first time in airshow during Labor Day (September 5) at NAS Patuxent River, MD. President Barack Obama has authorized the Departments of Agriculture, Energy and Navy to invest up to $510 million in clean energy over the next three years.
In May this year US Air Force demonstration team the Thunderbirds tested biofuel on both solos. Now the Us NAVY team will do the same, but on the all six demonstration planes.
