Hawks of Romania is a civil aerobatic display team flying 4 Extra 300L and one Extra 330SC aircraft. The team had another Extra 300L as a spare.
All airplanes are paint in yellow, red and blue colors (Romania flag colors) and are equipped with white smoke generators. The leader of the team flies Extra 330SC as other pilots fly Extra 300L aircraft. #5 the solo pilot did not join the main diamond formation during all demonstration. After the formation display, all planes landed as the leader stay in the air to perform solo maneuvers. This aerial routine is unique for the Hawks of Romania team.
Hawks of Romania team is a part of Romanian Aero Club sponsored by Ministry of Transport. Extra 300L planes are in Romanian Aero Club service since 1999.

The team is formed in 2007, as within the Romanian Aero Club has some formation flying teams before, but none of them were official and named.
In 2009 during training flight the leader of the team Mihai Dobre Tone died, when his aircraft crashed because of rudder jam. In honor, his photo is paint on the leader's Extra 330SC tail.
Since team's creation, they performed at many airshows in Romania and Europe.
