The “Black Panthers” were an aerobatic display team in the Royal Australian Air Force.
This team from No. 76 Sqn. at Williamtown, was a successor to the “Red Diamonds”. It only had a short history forming in early 1965 and lasting only until 1966.
The team was also equipped with four CAC CA-27 Sabres. The team in 1965 consisted of: F/Lt J. Chesterfield (leader), P/O R. Bastick, F/O G. Warrener, and P/O G. Coleman.
