At the end of Korean War, the "Albino Angels" aerobatic team was formed flying four standard painted A-4D Skyhawk aircraft from the US NAVY's VA-113 Squadron. The instigator of the team was former Blue Angels leader, CDR "Zeke" Cormier.

The "Albino Angels" first and only displays occurred on 9 and 10 August 1957 at NAS Miramar when the team took off from an aircraft carrier, becoming the only aerobatic team to begin in this manner. After just these two demonstrations, the team was disbanded.
